While veganism means consciously choosing to eliminate all animal products from your diet, that doesn’t mean every vegan is going to guilt everyone around them for eating a string cheese. 2. They’re tired all the time from getting no protein.
Vegans get plenty of protein from other foods without turning to animal products. Beans, Nuts, carbs like pasta, vegetables, oats—all of them provide a source of healthy protein to keep the strictest vegans going.
3. They’re crazy yoga-obsessed hippy health nuts.
False. Well, there are some vegans who do take the lifestyle a bit more extreme. But most vegans are pretty normal. They just don’t eat animal products.
4. They eat like birds.
Just because vegans don’t eat meat, cheese, eggs and other foods from animals doesn’t mean they don’t get to have plenty of other awesome foods that everyone knows and loves. Pasta, pancakes, brownies, soups, burritos – all of these and more can be made vegan and still be delicious.
5. They only go vegan because they want to look cool.
Yes, there are people who choose to go vegan simply because of the moral aspect, but sometimes people go vegan simply because they don’t enjoy items like meat, or want to try and eliminate high-fat products like eggs and cheese from their diets.
